Seminars on flooring solutions

LĪMENĪ manager Mārtiņš Štrauss, who has 18 years of experience in the cement screed floor installation process, runs the seminars “Quality cement screed (Estrich) solutions and technologies” in cooperation with SIA “CMB Inženieru kompetences centrs”. The seminar comprises 4.5 hours of theoretical classes and 1.5 hours of practical classes. Several important topics are covered during the seminar:

• Types of screed floors, floor coverings, their specifics and application.
• Standards applicable to cement screed (Estrich) DIN 18560-1, strength classes, minimum thickness, requirements and application.
• Properties of cement screed mixtures and laying technologies.
• Quality of cement screed coverings – testing of strength, hardness, durability and surface tolerance.
• DIN standards in real construction site situations.
• Types of dispersed reinforcement with optimal mechanical, physical and chemical properties in cement screed.
